Community Passes

Explore Duluth and beyond with your library card! The Duluth Public Library, in partnership with local organizations, is excited to offer free passes to all cardholders registered at Duluth Public Library, with an account in good standing. Because of high demand, it is recommended to call ahead and check on pass availability. Passes can be checked out at any of the three library locations. Learn more about each pass below.

Community Pass FAQs

Passes are valid to redeem for seven full days. Please refer to the due date on your check-out receipt—this is the final date on which to use your pass. If the due date is 8/18,  you have until the end of day on August 18 to redeem, provided your pass site is open on that date. Operating hours of community pass partners may vary and exclusions may apply. Make note of operating hours and plan accordingly!

The number of guests allowed per pass varies. Please check pass details.

There is no need to return anything to the library once you have used your pass.

One pass to each attraction may be checked out on one library card.

Accommodations for parking vary from pass to pass. Please check pass details.

No. The library cannot re-issue a pass but you are welcome to check out another pass, if one is available.

No. Passes are available in-person, on a first come, first served basis.
