Tech Help

The library provides free, 30-minute help sessions for basic technology problems. Tech help areas include smart phone navigation, library apps and databases, Google and Microsoft applications, and more. Appointments are available at all three library locations.

Main Library Tech Help 

Various times available, by appointment. There are a few ways to make an appointment at the Main Library. Call the reference desk at 218-730-4206, stop by in person during open hours, or complete the form below. Once your form is submitted, a library staff person will reach out to you to confirm your appointment time.

Mount Royal Branch Tech Help 

Available hours: Every third Wednesday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. To make an appointment at the Mount Royal Branch, call 218-730-4209 or stop by in person during open hours. More information about tech help at Mount Royal can be found here.

West Duluth Branch Tech Help

Available hours: Every third Wednesday of the month from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. To make an appointment at the West Duluth Branch, call 218-730-4280 or stop by in person during open hours. More information about tech help at West Duluth can be found here.

To make the most of your session, come prepared with:

  • Fully charged device, if using your own
  • Passwords/logins you may need
  • A problem to tackle and a willingness to learn!
