A PORT CARD is an electronic library card that gives ISD709 students free access to Duluth Public Library resources:

  • physical books, movies, music, toys etc.
  • ebooks
  • audiobooks
  • databases for research

PORT CARD Opt-In Form

There are no financial risks when using a PORT CARD. If a student loses a book, Duluth Public Library staff will work with that students “pay” the replacement cost of the book by reading or completing other activities via our "Fresh Start" program.

Students can check out up to 5 physical books or materials. Students can also check out up to 10 ebooks, audiobooks or a combination of both through OverDrive.  

IN PERSON:

Let library staff know that you’d like to check out books with your PORT CARD, and tell them your student ID number. No physical card required!
