WHAT DOES A TEEN ADVISORY BOARD (T.A.B.) MEMBER DO?

  • Attend monthly meetings, trainings and events. 
  • Suggest books and other materials for the library to purchase. 
  • Promote the library to peers.
  • Write book reviews.
  • Assist library staff in the creation of fun programs.
  • Work with a group of teens to reach goals.
  • Learn to communicate effectively through email and other online tools.
  • Learn about the library.

After you have submitted either a printed or online application, we will contact you to set up a short, informal interview. 

T.A.B. OPEN HOUSES

Stop by one of our two Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B.) open houses at the Main Library green room to learn more. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend to learn more. Pizza will be served!
